Virtual info sessions are available twice a month. Info sessions are completely virtual, allowing you the flexibility to log in from anywhere.

Schedule a campus tour
Campus tours are offered daily as well as select Saturdays. Campus tours start with a 30-minute information session presented by an admissions officer, followed by a 50-minute campus tour. The tour includes a look at our library, a residence hall, and several classrooms!

Nursing tours are offered on select days throughout the semester. These tours start with a 30-minute information session presented by an admissions officer, followed by a 50-minute tour of campus and our state-of-the-art health science facilities.

Tours are available on Fridays for students interested in our Chiropractic, DC program. Get an exclusive peek into the labs and facilities available. Chiropractic tours last approximately one hour.

Admission FAQ
Yes. University of Bridgeport is test-optional, so you can choose whether to submit your SAT or ACT scores. If you apply without test scores, you’ll need to submit a 250-500-word personal essay.
Please note that some specialized programs may still require test scores. Contact your admissions counselor for details.
For most programs, a completed application and all supporting materials must be received by:
- August 1 for programs beginning in the fall
- December 15 for programs beginning in the spring
However, UB does accept and review applications continuously throughout the year until programs fill up.
Deadline exceptions:
Teacher certification and internship programs:
- June 15 for the fall semester
- November 15 for the spring semester
Counseling MS and Educational Leadership Ed.D.:
- May 1 for priority consideration, August 1 (final deadline) for the fall semester
- October 1 for priority consideration, December 15 (final deadline) for the spring semester
No — there is no fee to apply to University of Bridgeport.
Yes. UB offers a variety of scholarships for undergraduate, transfer, graduate, and international students. Many students are automatically considered at the time of admission.
Students also have access to 16,000+ internal and external scholarship opportunities through Scholarship Universe. Students can begin applying as soon as they are accepted and have their UB Net account.

You can access the University of Bridgeport application portal online.
UB offers daily campus tours, as well as open houses, virtual information sessions, and program-specific tours. Campus visits include an information session and a guided tour of campus. Virtual tours are also available if you are unable to visit in person.
You can check your application status by logging into the application portal using the credentials you created when you applied. There, you can track your progress, view submitted documents, and see any remaining requirements.
