Purple Knight Society
Students who have served as student ambassadors become members of the Purple Knight Society upon graduation. Student Ambassadors are the public faces of UB, and showcase the university to potential students and their families. Student Ambassadors build school pride, practice outstanding communication, and help to grow UB’s bright future.
The Honors Program at the University of Bridgeport provides a dynamic, challenging, and supportive environment for highly motivated students of exceptional academic achievement. The Honors Program is built around four core areas: Community Building, Personal & Professional Development, Service, and Cultural Exploration.
Candidates for graduation who have completed at least 60 semester hours of academic course work at the University of Bridgeport in their junior and senior years are eligible for honors upon recommendation of the appropriate College faculty. A minimum of 45 semester hours are required for candidates in Associate's degree programs. The following standards are used:

*Latin honors are based on Fall 2021 grades and are subject to change upon the submission of Spring 2022 grades. In the event the Latin honors change based on the Spring 2022 grades, the updated Latin honors will be reflected on your transcript and diploma.
Candidates participating in award ceremonies will receive invitations via email from their designated program.
