Orientation Objectives and Outcomes
As a result of participating in New Student Orientation, students will:
- Begin to build relationships with other students and staff
					- Students will feel comfortable asking their orientation leaders for help in the future.
- Students will learn the names of at least five other new students.
- Students will be able to name at least two staff members they see as a resource.
- Students will know who their academic advisor is and/or where they can find them
 
- Learn the culture and traditions of UB
					- Students will understand what life is like as a UB student
 
- Be excited about their decision to attend UB.
					- Student will identify at least one way they are interested in getting involved at UB.
- Students will report being more sure of their decision to attend.
 
- Understand the resources available to them to support success
					- Students will be able to name at least two university services/staff members
- Students will know who their academic advisor is and/or where they can find them
 
- Understand the basics of financial literacy in the college setting.
					- Students will note an increase in financial literacy.
- Students will know who to go to with financial questions.
