How to become an RN
To become a registered nurse, you must complete a state-approved nursing program, such as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). After graduation, candidates must pass the NCLEX-RN exam and meet state licensure requirements.
At University of Bridgeport, you can prepare for RN licensure through programs such as the Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN). Each pathway is designed to build the clinical knowledge, hands-on experience, and critical thinking skills needed for professional nursing practice.
