Job Shadow Program
Professional Job Shadow Experience Week gives University of Bridgeport sophomores and juniors the opportunity to shadow an alumni working in a field related to their desired career path. Each participating alumni will be given an assigned shadow day and student, based on availability and interest.
If you are interested in participating in the Job Shadow Program, please contact Taylor Van Antwerp, Director of Career Development, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Compass Mentoring Program pairs UB alumni with undergraduate students looking for educational advice, career and major guidance, and life lessons. Started by our Alumni Board in 2015, the program began as part of the living-learning experience in Barnum Hall. It is a great opportunity for alumni to give something back to the next generation of students.
Alumni mentors do not have to be local to Bridgeport, CT—we love to welcome mentors who live in various parts of the country and world!
The program is intended to be flexible to accommodate your own schedule. You may choose to stay in touch with your student mentee with face-to-face meetings, email, phone, Facebook, or Skype. It is up to you and your mentee to decide what works best for you!
If you are interested in becoming a Mentor, please email email@example.com.
