Initiatives that engage on- and off-campus partners to create a network of support and solidarity

  • Coordination of community service projects and intergroup dialogues
    • Our staff is available to work with off campus partners to identify service opportunities that also involve time for thoughtful reflection and dialogue between students and community members on important issues such as socioeconomic class, power and privilege, food scarcity, and more
  • Culturally sensitive communications and events with on- and off-campus orgs
    • We work with campuses and offices throughout campus to ensure communications and language reflect cultural sensitivity through workshops and presentations:
      • Diversity Conversation Starters
      • What You Can Do To Shift Campus Climate
      • Communication Styles Across Cultures
  • We work with partners such as Title IX Compliance, Equity, & Inclusion, International Affairs, and student Involvement, among others, to provide leadership on the following committees:
    • Multicultural Advisory Board, MLK Day Observance Committee, university committees/taskforces
