Meet the Events and Communications Team

I graduated from University of Bridgeport with my Bachelor’s Degree of Science (2012) and Master’s of Elementary Education (2014). My favorite part of my role is that I get to work with Student Ambassadors and execute events for our incoming students. When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family, binging Netflix with my dog, working out, and occasionally traveling to somewhere warm.

I graduated from University of Bridgeport with my bachelor’s degree in Marketing (2015) and MBA in Analytics Intelligence & Marketing (2017), Doctorate in Educational Leadership (2022). I’m passionate about my job because I love helping students achieve their goals and dreams. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, my dog, and traveling.

Hey there! My name is Lizanne Cruz but many may know me as Liz and I am the Campus Visitation and Experience Coordinator here in the Office of Admissions at UB! I graduated from University of Bridgeport in 2022 with my BA in Mass Communication. During my time as an undergraduate student I was a Senior Student Ambassador while being highly involved on campus as an Orientation Leader, Resident Assistant/Guest Relations Associate, Speaker of the House, part of Greek Life, and clubs. I love helping others and am passionate about serving my community as a Bridgeport native. I’m looking forward to seeing new faces and familiar ones alike on campus!
