Interdisciplinary Emerging Technology (IET Lab)

The Interdisciplinary Emerging Technology (IET) Lab is one of the newest innovation hubs at University of Bridgeport, created to spark collaboration and hands-on learning across engineering and beyond. Located in the TECH Building, this state-of-the-art space brings together advanced tools and research equipment to fuel discovery in artificial intelligence, robotics, nanofabrication, 3D printing, smart manufacturing, IoT, and cybersecurity.

In the IET Lab, students, faculty, and industry partners work side by side designing prototypes, testing ideas, and exploring solutions to today’s most pressing challenges. It’s a space built for action: where learning happens through doing, and where the next generation of innovators gain the skills and confidence to thrive in high-demand STEM fields.
