Classes in Modern Languages

University of Bridgeport’s Language Academy offers select students the opportunity to take classes in the following modern languages:

Mastery of a foreign language expands your career and educational opportunities.
Students who have studied foreign language have more job opportunities available to them both at home and abroad, in an increasingly global society.
Especially in the United States, we need more young people to master the so-called less commonly taught languages, such as Chinese, Korean, Arabic, and Russian.
Language classes are kept small to allow interaction between your professors and you.
Language study opens doors in countless fields, including business, marketing, government, medicine, technology, law, and the military.
Earn 3 undergraduate university credits per semester from University of Bridgeport. Credits may be transferable to other universities

$250 per 15-week semester; 3 hours of online class weekly
