Office of Student Academic Success
Welcome to the Office of Student Academic Success (OSAS), located in the Heckman Center. OSAS provides you with an open environment to foster self-exploration, self-awareness, and self-evaluation, helping you to develop a sense of personal identity. You will be guided in developing an academic program consistent with your goals and natural strengths while exploring your interests, values, skills, and abilities outside of the classroom. Services provided include academic advisement, schedule building, class selection, academic coaching, major and career exploration, connection to campus resources, and success strategies for undergraduate students with 60 credits or less and some online graduate students.
The Office of Student Academic Success (OSAS) is comprised of:
- Academic Success Advising
- Tutoring Services
- Academic Success Advising offers professional advising in individual and group settings, provides support and guidance during your transition to college and progression through your major, and helps with strategies for success to help ensure a path for you to graduate on time.
- Tutoring Services offers professional and peer tutors in individual or group settings and can help with writing, study skills, subject-specific tutoring, and more. Tutoring services are available to all undergraduate students looking for assistance with courses and supports classroom instruction by providing valuable resources.
