Meet the Chiropractic Program Director
Paul R. Sherman, D.C.
Dr. Sherman earned his BS in Nutrition from Park College before pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. He joined the UB family in 1998. Throughout his time at University of Bridgeport, he has served in many administrative roles including interim director, associate director of academic affairs, interim dean, associate dean of academic affairs, and coordinator of academic affairs.
Dr. Sherman is currently the director of University of Bridgeport’s School of Chiropractic (UBSC). He is also an associate professor of clinical sciences and a postgraduate faculty member. He is a published author and an instructor for the educational website ChiroCredit.com.
Dr. Sherman is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association. He is licensed to practice in both Connecticut and New Jersey (where he provided patient-centered care for 16 years). Dr. Sherman also has postgraduate certifications in Scoliosis Determinator Procedures, Interesting and Challenging Chiropractic Case Studies, Musculoskeletal Applications of MRI, Hospital Protocol, and COVID-19 Contact Tracing.
