Mathew DiMond

Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences, School of Chiropractic

Dr. DiMond is a clinical instructor at the University of Bridgeport's Health Sciences Center. He is board certified in rehabilitation medicine and holds over a dozen nationally recognized certifications in soft tissue therapy, patient assessment, and exercise training. He started his health career as an EMT and worked for nearly 10 years for Citizen's Ambulance Service in western PA. He has held numerous teaching appointments for colleges, hospitals, & post-grad departments. Research interests generally include biomechanics of athletic assessment, exercise and rehabilitative principles, and student engagement in graduate education. 

Dr. DiMond also serves on the executive board of the Connecticut Chiropractic Association (currently 2nd VP), as a council representative for the ACA Rehab Council, and looks forward to continuing his volunteerism for the Connecticut State Medical Group and the Nutmeg games (among many other things).
