Eric D.
Lehman directs the Composition program,
as well as teaching creative writing and literature. He has taught
fifteen different courses at the University, such as Writing, Science Fiction, The American Dream, World Literature, and the
Literature of Travel and Adventure.
Professor Lehman is the editor of the school literary magazine, Groundswell,
as well as the director of events throughout the year such as the
International Poetry Festival.
Publications
Prof. Lehman has published fiction, travel stories, essays, poems, and nonfiction in dozens of online and print journals and magazines, as well as for public institutions like the Bridgeport History Center. His books, A History of Connecticut Wine, Bridgeport: Tales From the Park City and Hamden: Tales from the Sleeping Giant, are all available from The History Press. His fourth, the Insiders Guide to Connecticut, will be released by the Globe Pequot Press in January 2012.
