Professor Don Solimini is a Connecticut native who graduated from St. Louis University’s PA Program in Missouri after attending St. Michael’s College in Vermont. After graduation from PA school he initially worked within VA health care system. Professor Solimini transitioned into Pediatrics and Neonatology and spent 26 years as a Senior PA at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. He received his Master in Health Administration from Quinnipiac University. He has been a lecturer in Pediatrics at Quinnipiac University and Arcadia University and speaks locally and nationally for various PA organizations.
Professor Solimini has also been extensively involved with ConnAPA, serving as CME chairman, and with AAPA on the Conference Education Planning Committee identifying speakers and topics for the national Physician Assistant Conference. He is involved with global health missions to underserved countries and has made trips to SE Asia, the Caribbean, and Central America.
Professor Solimini’s distinguished 32-year career in clinical practice and teaching significantly strengthens the University’s PA Program.
