Master of Science - Physician Assistant Program
This exciting, twenty eight month Physician Assistant M.S. program admits only one class in January each year and will include courses throughout that period. The first fourteen months is spent mainly in didactic classroom experiences, while the second fourteen months focuses on experiential clinical rotations in hospital and various outpatient settings.
The program is housed in the UB’s Division of Health Sciences and will prepare students for the practice of medicine as Physician Assistants. Our curriculum is designed to educate students in preparation to pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE), which confers authority to practice medicine as a physician assistant.
