The field of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine is one of the most respected healing professions around the globe. It serves a quarter of the world’s population and has increased in public acceptance in the United States as the fastest growing complementary health care field.
UB Acupuncture Continuing Education:
The UB Acupuncture Institute offers continuing education courses to licensed acupuncturists and other whose licenses include the use of acupuncture. All courses are taught by highly qualified professionals who are experts in the designated subject area. Courses are chosen specifically to promote the development and use of critical thinking skills, patient-centered clinical skills, and meet area acupuncturists’ requirement for NCCAOM re-certification. The goal of these courses is to increase participant knowledge and promote professional development.
Annual UB Acupuncture CEU Day:
Held in early June each year, the Acupuncture Institute offers a one-day program on the main UB campus for acupuncturists. Details of the next CEU day program will be available by March 15, 2012.
