Randy Laist is a professor of English and Chair of the English Department at University of Bridgeport.  He is the author of "Technology and Postmodern Subjectivity, Cinema of Simulation, The Twin Towers in Film, and Rethinking Writing Instruction in the Age of AI."  His writing has appeared in The Chronicle of Higher Education, Salon, and The New York Times.
