Health & Safety

Whether you are studying at one of our affiliate institutions, taking on a third-party program, or directly enrolling at an international institution, the University of Bridgeport’s Office of Study Abroad will be here to provide support and advice every step of the way. Every program is a little different, and we’re here to assist you in safely meeting your individual study abroad goals.

The University of Bridgeport and the Office of Study Abroad takes student well-being and safety very seriously. We offer pre-departure orientations that include cultural overviews, information on international insurance, and safe travel guidance to all students heading abroad.

What’s Up With Culture is an online resource that includes a pre-departure tutorial. Students can access this resource to better prepare themselves for international immersion.
