AAs I mentioned in my email earlier this week, the Department of Public Health strongly recommends all residential students be tested for COVID-19 before leaving school or immediately upon arriving home.
Getting tested will help protect those you care about, especially individuals who are at high risk of complications from COVID-19 (over age 60 or with chronic medical conditions).
In addition to our weekly random testing program, UB will offer all students access to free, rapid COVID-19 test prior to going home on the following days:

Prior to arriving for your exit test, students must download and create an account on the free NAVICA™ mobile app from Abbott Laboratories. You will receive your test results from the BinaxNOW™ test via the app. Please bring your student ID to the test site.
In addition to getting tested, please remember to act responsibly and follow the COVID-19 health and safety guidelines (e.g. masking, social distancing, washing hands).
Finally, I wanted to remind you one final time that all students will have their building access turned off on November 26. After that time, access to campus will be limited to students with special permission, including those utilizing clinics, winter housing and academic programs.
If you have been given permission to remain on campus, please keep an eye out for additional instructions this week.
