Gala to grow a new naturopathic medicine clinic at the University of Bridgeport on November 17

Help grow the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine’s new outpatient clinic at a very special evening of music, dining, and dancing on Saturday, November 17.

The festive event begins at 5 p.m. at the Cox Student Center, 244 University Avenue, Bridgeport.

The evening includes a Caribbean-inspired buffet dinner catered by Ripka’s Market, live music from Orquesta Afinke, a donation wine and beer bar, and live and silent auctions with prizes that include 2012 NFL Super Bowl game ball and program, sailboat cruises, and much more.

About the College of Naturopathic Medicine: The College of Naturopathic Medicine hosts Therapeutic Lifestyle Changes, a support program for individuals trying to lose weight and make healthy lifestyle changes; a Pediatric and Autism Clinic; and the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine with the New York Times-bestselling author of the Eat Right for Your Type books, Dr. Peter D’Adamo.

Overseen by expert faculty from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, the new Center for Naturopathic Medicine will be one five UB Clinics located on the University of Bridgeport campus. Each year, UB Clinics treat more than 20,000 individuals, many of whom would not have access and could not otherwise receive this type of health care. The Center for Naturopathic Medicine will offer X-ray services, hydrotherapy, and physiotherapy rooms, as well as a dispensary that provides vitamins, supplements, and herbal remedies.
