Dr. Lewis is a business practitioner with a corporate career that includes almost 20 years of senior leadership and management experience with several multinational corporations. Prior to joining the University of Bridgeport in 2015, Dr. Lewis was a Senior Analyst at UnitedHealth Group. His work there encompassed providing analytical support to sales in finance in their growth efforts of their sister company Optum in going from a $5 billion dollars a year company to over $80 billion dollars in revenue. In addition, Dr. Lewis also served as an analyst at Yale University. There he worked with the development team in their efforts in obtaining over $3.5 billion dollars in capital and annual funding in support of the universities endowment fund. Moreover, Dr. Lewis worked as a lead analyst within the Royal Bank of Scotland within their credit card division. There he provided support as it pertained to their credit card portfolio in addition to other tasks related to risk assessment.
