STEM on Wheels bus

Stuff the Bus

The STEM-on-Wheels bus is back to collect and distribute non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, toiletry items, new household goods, gift cards, and even cash to our local community.

Bridgeport residents in need will receive vital necessities from “Stuff the Bus,” through the local organizations of Homes for the Brave, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Thomas Merton Center, and Caroline House. Some of the donations will also be set aside for UB students who remain on campus over Winter Break.

Students, faculty, and staff who donate items will receive free masks and sanitizers (while supplies last), along with information about the opioid epidemic and voter registration. The School of Engineering and School of Nursing will give demonstrations of STEM activities, as well.

The bus will be on campus during the week of October 26-30 every day from 11:30-1:30 on UB’s Pedestrian Mall between Dana Hall and the Counseling Center.
