SASD’s student-run graphic design studio located in the heart of downtown Bridgeport
Established in 2010 by Chair of Graphic Design Emily Larned, Design Service is a sliding-scale, community-oriented graphic design studio serving greater Bridgeport. It is also a class for college credit. Each Friday from 10:30AM -3:30 PM, junior and senior graphic design students meet with clients, analyze creative briefs, research projects, brainstorm ideas, critique work, make presentations, and practice management skills. SASD Design Service is located directly in the center of Downtown Bridgeport, with easy access to Interstate 95 and the Merritt Parkway.
Design Service provides SASD students with invaluable real-world work experience, and the greater Bridgeport community with fresh, affordable, and accessible graphic design.
Design Service has designed posters, publications, logos, maps, brochures, postcards, t-shirts, invitations, programs, campaigns, web banners, and websites.
