Dr. Timothy G. Dorr is a provocative and insightful executive and educator. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Bridgeport, an adjunct professor at Mercy College, and an independent management consultant.
Dorr’s move into academia follows a 30+ year career in American Business. He has worked as a CMO and a CIO within corporate American as well as technology startups and turn-arounds. In the course of his career he has also launched several new products and business ventures. Concurrently Dorr has pursued his love of sailing and holds licenses and certificates from the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Sailing Association, the U.S. governing body for the sport.
In addition to teaching at the UB campus, Dorr is active in the School’s Sino-US program and teaches two months each year in China. His research has been published in The International Journal of Management and Innovation. Dorr holds a B.B.S. in Marketing Research from the University of Oregon, an MBA from Columbia University of Phoenix.
