Full Time Tenure Track Faculty Position

 

The School of Engineering at the University of Bridgeport is a rapidly growing school with Ph.D., MS and undergraduate programs in a number of exciting and industry relevant engineering and technology management fields. The School of Engineering has quadrupled its sponsored research funding over the last three years.

The Department of Technology Management in the School of Engineering at the University of Bridgeport invites applications for a full time tenure-track position at the Assistant, Associate and/or full Professor levels to commence in the spring term of 2015.   

Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology Management (or Engineering Management or Management of Technology) or a related field and industry experience is desired.  A strong interest in teaching graduate courses and an excellent scholarship record are required, in addition to a solid funded research and grant writing record. Courses will be taught in the Department of Technology Management and may be taught in other engineering or MBA departments as cross-listed courses.

We offer an exciting and innovative inter-disciplinary MS-TM degree with multiple concentrations and a newly approved Ph.D. in Technology Management, starting in fall 2014.

 

Preference will be given to applicants in the areas of: Information Analytics, Decision Support Systems, Business Intelligence IT Strategy, Governance and Knowledge Management and Technology Entrepreneurship.

 

There are opportunities to participate in weekend, day and evening graduate and continuing education classes, distance learning initiatives and teach classes at our growing network of international partner universities.
