An Investment in UB

Your annual gift to the University of Bridgeport provides an essential fiscal bridge between endowment and tuition revenue and the University’s operating budget.

Every gift to the annual fund makes a difference, no matter the size. For alumni, your participation in annual giving directly impacts our college rankings which increases the value of a UB degree for all. Gifts as small as $10 multiplied by our alumni body of nearly 62,000 could catapult our rankings in important publications like U.S. News & World Report.

Grantors also want to know that we have broad support from alumni, faculty, staff, and Trustees and pay attention to participation rates before awarding grants for research, scholarships, program development, and so much more.

If you have questions about the impact your annual gift will have, or to speak to someone directly about how best to support UB, please contact Aimee Marcella, amarcell@bridgeport.edu

Faculty and Staff Gifts

As an employee of the University of Bridgeport, you play an integral role in day-to-day operations, and the University depends on your support and commitment to help students achieve success.

By going above and beyond your duty and supporting UB with an annual gift, you provide opportunities for the University to apply for competitive grants that allow us to enhance programs and expand offerings to our students.

The simplest way for employees to support UB is through payroll deduction, either one time or annually. Payroll deduction forms can be found through the MyUB portal in the Form Library. Gifts can also be made by check, cash, or credit card remitted to the Office of Annual Giving in Cortright Hall.

Please contact Robert Cottle, Vice President for University Relations at 203-576-4696 or rcottle@bridgeport.edu with questions or concerns.

Family Engagement

The Knight’s Court- UB’s Family Association

Family members play an integral role in student success. The University of Bridgeport welcomes family members to be engaged with all that we do on campus, from campus tours, Welcome Weekend, Alumni Weekend, and our many sports events. Family members may also support UB students with a gift to our Annual Fund, which supports improvements where they are needed most, such as hiring top-rate professors, building renovations, or increasing scholarship funds to allow more students the opportunity of a great education.
