Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Doctor
of Chiropractic
Joint ND/DC Program
Students
who are enrolled in the college of Naturopathic Medicine who
also wish to receive a Doctor of Chiropractic degree must be
in good academic standing and be recommended by both the Dean
of the College of Naturopathic Medicine and the Dean of the
College of Chiropractic. They will be admitted with advanced
standing. Medical science coursework and other courses will
be transferred into the Chiropractic program.
Students should expect to complete the dual degree of Doctor
of Naturopathic Medicine and Doctor of Chiropractic (N.D./D.C.)
program within two and a half years.
Joint
Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Nutrition
Students
who have completed the fifth semester of naturopathic medical
studies in good academic standing will be recommended by the
Dean of the College of naturopathic medicine for entry into
the Master's Program with advanced standing. They will enter
the third semester of the Nutrition program. Students will be
required to complete a total of 13 semester hours of nutrition
courses. Required courses can be completed within the four years
of study toward the naturopathic degree.
Joint
Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Acupuncture
Students
who have completed the second semester of naturopathic medical
studies in good academic standing will be recommended by the
Dean of the College of naturopathic medicine for entry into
the Master's Program with advanced standing. Generally, naturopathic
students receive credit for 47 credits from their course of
studies and must complete another 67 credits specifically in
Oriental Medicine. Completion of the Acupuncture program is
expected to take one extra year after the graduation from the
naturopathic program.
