The official student newspaper of the University of Bridgeport
Published 4-5 times per year, The Scribe is exclusively researched, written, and edited by students. Whether you are interested in researching and writing articles, editing layout, photography, or serving as the business manager, The Scribe welcomes all students, regardless of experience.
The UB University Singers is a co-ed, non-auditioned chorus consisting of UB students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members.
The University Singers perform in on-campus concerts, at events around Greater Bridgeport, and at major university events such as the International Festival and Commencement.
The Singers are proud to maintain a multicultural repertoire that reflects UB’s strong international student body. Notable collaborations include the Greater Bridgeport Symphony, the Con Brio Choral Society, and the Mystic River Chorale.
The group is led by an elected board of students and Dr. Frank Martignetti, the conductor and director of UB’s Music and Performing Arts program. Rehearsals for University Singers are held late Tuesday afternoons during the academic year at the Arnold Bernhard Center located at the corner of University and Iranistan avenues.
