“I envision myself working with orphan children, and promoting women’s empowerment in developing countries.”
Major: Global Development and Peace
Field of Study
Conflict Analysis and Resolution
Why I chose UB Global Development and Peace Program
Coming from developing country where I witnessed first-hand the loss of life and conflict, I chose to learn deeply about Global Development and Peace in the hope of putting an end to conflict and saving innocent lives. I thought this is the right place where I might find the answers to how we can create a world with peace by avoiding wars and internal conflicts.
What I enjoy most about the program
I especially enjoy class discussions regarding current issues that are happening all over the world, and the different approaches we can take to end wars and bring peace.
On classroom experiences
I learned so much during my first semester at UB. I am so thankful to my classmates, advisor, and professors who helped me to broaden my knowledge.
Plans for after graduation
I see myself pursuing my doctorate and working for an organization to bring prosperity to others. I also envision myself working with orphan children, and promoting women’s empowerment in developing countries.
