Meet an Instructor
Dr. Lord received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Texas and then went on to postdoctoral fellowships at the Clayton Foundation Biochemical Institute, the University of Arizona, and the National Institutes of Health. He served as Professor of Biochemistry and Clinical Nutrition for 10 years at Life College, during which he maintained an active practice of clinical nutrition consulting.
Since joining MetaMetrix in 1989, he has been actively involved in the development of new testing methodologies and innovative laboratory report combinations. He creates educational literature and conducts research into new applications of clinical laboratory testing.
He also publishes books and peer-reviewed journal articles in addition to teaching, and consulting with health professionals regarding the application of nutritional metabolic assays to patient care.
He currently serves as adjunct professor in the Nutrition Diplomate Program at Northwestern Health Sciences University and the Master of Medical Sciences program at The University of South Florida School of Medicine, and he is preparing a new Clinical Biochemistry course for the University of Bridgeport’s Master of Science in Human Nutrition online program.
Dr Lord teaches Clinical Biochemistry and Advanced Assessment online.
