Overview
This project StockPortfolio.com is basically created for user to get latest information, news and stock price of all company. Through this application user can get detail information of company through browsing all different links like Company News, Corporate News and IPO, Message Board, Port Folio.

Current Price of NASDAQ, DOW and S & P 500
This great feature which I included in my project through latest web designing and development facility which is available nowadays.
I implemented this code using PHP scripting which goes to www.finanace.yahoo.com and get those current prices of NASDAQ, DOW and S & P 500. It updates every time and get latest price when user click refresh button. These prices display on main page of web site.
Portfolio Creation
This is another great feature which I used in my project. Using this feature if user is already registered then he/she can access their portfolio using username and password. New user has to fill up a small registration form showing username, password, email, First Name and Last Name. That information gets stored into database. Once user gets registered he/she can create his own Portfolio using 3 simple steps.
They have to fill portfolio name, Ticker Symbols of their own choice company and number of headline of news. Once form is filled user can keep record and track of his stock and company news using his portfolio anytime.
Message Board
This is widely used feature nowadays on any kind of information website.
Using Message Board user can ask question and put it on message board when another user see that question he/she can reply back to that user.
Message Board shows # of message and current page at top.
At the Bottom part it shows index of message, Body of that message, ID, Username, No. of Hits of that message and date on which that message is posted. User can sort messages by ID, Subject, Body or Name. They can look for particular message using search keyword.
Quote Lookup
By entering particular Ticker symbol of company user can see the latest news and stock price of that company and it’s Intraday Chart. That chart is divided into two parts. Top part shows graph of DJIA daily vs. Millions and bottom part of chat shows Volume (per year). That chart update daily according to stock market.
Company News
This feature gives all information and latest news of company. User can select company alphabetically and look all information related to it. They can search particular company by entering company keyword.
Corporate News
This feature shows corporate news of those companies which is giving share to their employee.
IPO Center
This feature allows user to see those company which is going to be public very soon.
Login
User has to login by entering his user name and password. If there is new user then he/she has to register first then login by using username and password. Cookie will store the username and password on machine so if user does not log out then they can access their portfolio directly without login. But once user logged out then they have to login again.
Logout
User can close their session by clicking on logout button.
