Description
Introduction
to computer networks. Circuits, message, packet and cell switching.
WAN and LAN design issues. LAN standards. Network layer design
issues. Routing and congestion control. Internetworking ISDN,
B-ISDN, and ATM. Transport layer design issues and protocols.
Application layer design issues and protocols. Examples of
protocol suites and networks.
