Prof. Hmurcik received his Ph.D. in 1980 in
Semiconductors/Solar Cells. Since then he has published research in solar cells,
diode theory, nonlinear optics, superconductors, lightning propagation, circuit
simulation, plastic/metal composite analysis, and medical sensors.
Currently, he is working in the area of Medical
Electronics, with emphasis on electric accident reconstruction and medical
machine protocols.
