Degree Requirements
  1. A total of 30 semester hours is required in an approved program of study for the M.S. in Technology Management.

  2. Completion of the following core courses (15 credit hours):

    • TCMG 400 Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Issues & Practices in Management
    • TCMG 424 Total Quality Management & Continuous Process Improvement
    • TCMG 484 Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers
    • TCMG 505 Global Program & Project Management
    • TCMG 523 Leadership, Teams and Managing Change

  3. Completion of TCMG 597AB/MGMT 597 (3 credit hours):

    • TCMG 597AB/MGMT 597 is a Capstone/Project course designed to integrate concepts taught throughout the program and requires the development of a Business Plan as one of the course requirements.

  4. Elective Courses (12 credit hours):

    • Students must take four elective courses (12 credit hours). These electives may be selected from any of the concentration areas listed in the List of Concentrations in consultation with the program academic advisor. A description of the courses available in each concentration is available in the catalog.

  5. Other Technology Management Project Courses:

    • TCMG 500 Graduate Co-Op/Internship in Technology Management (1-3 credit hours)
    • TCMG 597C Masters Project (1 credit hour)
    • TCMG 598 Thesis In Technology Management (3 credit hours)
    • TCMG 599 Independent Study in Technology Management (3 credit hours)

  6. As a pre-requisite for the program, all students are expected to have a demonstrated familiarity with statistical analysis and basic computing skills. Any remedial course taken to meet this requirement will not be considered as an elective.
