We
understand the dilemma you face today: you'd like to complete the
college degree you started yet, the idea of fitting college into
your busy life seems almost impossible. Which is why the University
of Bridgeport developed the IDEAL Program... an innovative degree
completion program designed for adults.

Through IDEAL, adult students have the opportunity to continue working full-time while completing a bachelor's degree in business or general studies.

Program candidates must be at least 23 years of age, have completed 30 credit hours of previous college and have 3+ years of full-time work experience to qualify for admission. |
IDEAL is the process of delivering course work to adults in a way which recognizes the ability of adults to do a significant amount of preparation and learning outside the classroom. The instructor serves less as a lecturer and more as a facilitator, encouraging students to bring their real world experience in the classroom. Instruction is conducted in small, seminar-style classes to provide for maximum student-instructor interaction. Classes meet one night a week from 6pm to 10pm or four-hour sessions on Saturdays.
