Printing From the Library
1) Purchase a Copicard by inserting $1.00 (only accepts singles) into the Copicard Dispenser (gray box) mounted on the wall to your right as you enter the library. You are charged a one-time fee of .40 cents for the purchase of the card the remaining .60 cents will be on your card. You will keep this card and simply add money when needed. Copies are 10 cents per page.
2) Select the print command from the PC your working on, then click OK to send your job to the network printers. When printing PDF files select print option from the PDF window not the file menu.
3) Go to either of the network printers located in the Database Search Room and insert your Copicard into the Copicard Reader (push all the way in) located directly to the right of both monitors connected to the printer. The Copicard Reader will display the amount of money remaining on your card. If a bad card message appears, try wiping off the magnetic strip and reinserting your card.
4) The printer’s monitor will display all jobs that were sent to the printer. Find the job you wish to print (your name should appear next to print job) and select it using the mouse. The jobs you select should be highlighted with a green check mark next to them.
5) Be sure to have enough money on your card to cover the amount of pages to be printed, otherwise you will lose your money and nothing will be printed.
6) Click on Print Selected Jobs found on the lower right of the screen. Your document should begin to print.
7) Push the end button on the Card Reader to retrieve your card.
