 Group Study Space


 

Group study rooms are on the first floor in Room 110 and 112. Group study areas are also available on the first, third and fourth floors of the library. 

Who is allowed to reserve a group study room?

Students currently enrolled in classes at the University of Bridgeport.

What uses are inappropriate for group study rooms?
           
These rooms are for student group study only. They cannot be reserved by Faculty, students or staff for tutoring, office hours or departmental needs.

What hours are group study rooms available?


Group study rooms are available when the library is open. Please see the library hours of operation for more information.

How long can my group use the room?


Rooms are reserved for 2 hours, if no other group needs the room you may have an additional hour. If another group needs the room during that time frame you will be asked to leave. Your group cannot reserve a room for the same time every week.

How do I reserve a group study room?

Go to the Circulation Department in person.


Student Computing

On the first floor of the library near the network printing stations, there are computers with access to the Internet, online databases and interactive CD/CDRoms.

On the first floor in the front of the library is another bank of twenty computers. Here, students may do word processing as well as internet searching. These computers are handled by the Information technology department.
