Housatonic Community College/UB Course Equivalencies

Below is a partial list of the Housatonic Community College courses with their University of Bridgeport equivalencies. Additional courses will be added as the evaluations are completed.

Please note that because a course has a UB equivalent does not ensure that credit will automatically be given for that course. For example, UB only transfers in courses with grades of C or better. Only two Physical Education courses are transferable. Many programs have limited free electives. Only an academic or transfer advisor can explain exactly which courses will apply toward a degree program.

If courses are taken that are not on the list, please speak with a UB academic or transfer advisor to have the course evaluated.

Applicants without a two-year Associate degree will have their courses evaluated on a course by course basis.

Because of on-going course content and numbering changes on the part of many institutions, UB cannot guarantee complete accuracy of the equivalencies. Please speak with a UB transfer counselor if there are any discrepancies or questions.
