Budget Review Committee

Overview

The University Budget Review Committee functions as a standing committee of the University of Bridgeport. Standing and rotating members were appointed by the President who selected them from recommendations of the various constituencies within the community. The committee is charged with advising the Vice President for Administration & Finance in response to the financial challenges facing the University. The Budget Review Committee will consider the short and long term impacts of these challenges and may make recommendations concerning the most effective ways in which these problems may be addressed. It may review data as needed for information.

The Budget Review Committee will report directly to the President and University Senate. Members will:

  • Review progress on current budget.
  • Discuss priorities for construction of future budgets.
  • Summarize and report to the President and University Senate.
