The University Singers is an unauditioned mixed-voice chorus, open to Universityof Bridgeportstudents, faculty, alumni, and staff, as well as community members.Students from BridgeportInternationalAcademyare also welcome via special arrangement with BIA’s administration.The Singers perform 3-6 times per year in a variety of venues, including concerts on campus and around greater Bridgeport, and for campus-wide events such as Commencement.Since UB boasts one of the most international student bodies of any university in the United States, we strive to maintain a truly, broadly multicultural repertoire while remaining rooted in standard choral literature.Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 7-9 PM during the academic year, in Room 110 Arnold Bernhard Center.
