Boo Earns NYCAC Weekly Rookie Honor

Bridgeport, Conn. -- UB freshman Sofia Boo has been named as the NYCAC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week for her play during the week ending October 2nd.

Boo scored the game-winning goal last week to lead UB to a 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg. The goal was her second of the season.

UB is now 8-2-0 overall, 1-1-0 in NYCAC play and is back in action on Wednesday, October 5th at Mercy. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
