Purple Knights Fall to St. Rose in ECAC Final 
NEWARK, NJ (11/13/05)—Top-seeded Saint Rose posted its second 2-0 win in two days, defeating second-seeded Bridgeport to capture the 2005 Eastern College Athletic Conference Division II Women’s Soccer Championship on Sunday.
On Saturday, Saint Rose had won its semifinal match, 2-0, over #4 Philadelphia. Bridgeport reached the final with a 2-1 win over #6 Dowling on Saturday. Saint Rose closes its ECAC championship season with a 13-3-5 overall record, while Bridgeport ends at 14-6-2.
