2005 Baseball Season In Review

The UB baseball team used a solid performance in the second half of the season to qualify for the NYCAC Tournament for the first time ever. The program overcame a number of tough losses down the stretch and defeated regular-season conference champion Dowling on the final day of the regular season to earn a playoff spot. Senior right fielder Geoff Gilbert (pictured left) led the team with a .380 batting average and earned a number of postseason awards for his performance.
