Instructions for Online Application(Freshman)

Please be sure to fill out all parts of the Online Application. Optional information is labeled as such.
When you have completed each page of the application, click "Submit" or "Next" and you will be taken to the following page.
Freshmen applicants are also required to submit the following:
- Official High School Transcript
- Personal Statement (Space is provided on the Online Application)
- SAT or ACT scores (UB's College Board Code is 3914; ACT College Code is 0602)
- One Recommendation (Guidance Counselor or Teacher)
- $25.00 non-refundable application fee (Check or Money Order made payable to the University of Bridgeport)

Financial Aid Information
- All students wishing to apply for financial aid must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- This form may be obtained from your high school or community college office or from the Financial Aid Office at the University of Bridgeport at (203) 576-4568.
- UB's Title IV Code is 001416.
- The FAFSA must be filed as soon as possible after Jan. 1 but before April 15 for all students who wish to apply for need-based fiancial aid and Merit Scholarships.
