“Visual Lyrics”: A performance by spoken-word poet Sarah Kay at UB on April 17

A performance by spoken-word poet Sarah KayThe University of Bridgeport Student Government Association is proud to present “Visual Lyrics,” a special performance by spoken-word poet Sarah Kay, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 17.

The hour-long performance will be held at Littlefield Theatre in the Arnold Bernhard Center, 84 Iranistan Avenue, Bridgeport.

The event is free for all students, $2 for UB faculty and staff, and $4 for the general public. For more information, contact sga@bridgeport.edu. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Sarah Kay is an American poet and the founder and co-director of Project V.O.I.C.E., a group dedicated to using spoken word as an inspirational tool. Internationally recognized, she has been invited on numerous occasions to perform at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Conferences, that bring together the world’s most celebrated and fascinating thinkers.
