UB professor Eric Lehman to lecture on Tom Thumb on March 10

UB professor Eric D. Lehman will give a lecture about Tom Thumb at the Barnum Museum on March 10

Eric D. Lehman will present an illustrated lecture about Charles Statton, better known to the world as “Tom Thumb,” at 2 p.m. at the Barnum Museum on Sunday, March 10.

Admission for the hour-long event is $5. The museum is located at 820 Main Street, Bridgeport.

A Bridgeport native, Stratton began working for P.T. Barnum as a child, and under his employment traveled throughout the world. Lehman is author of Bridgeport: Tales from the Park City and director of creative writing at the University of Bridgeport. He will discuss Stratton’s amazing travels and other adventures.
