Jared Skowron, a professor at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and noted childhood autism expert, wanted to say thank-you to his patients so he opted for All-American: a special day at the ballpark.

This Sunday, Skowron is taking 100 children with autism and their families to the New Britain Rock Cats game, where the kids will get to hold the American flag on the field, run bases after the game, get free baseballs, and enjoy an all-you-can-eat dairy- and gluten-free picnic.

“It’s my way of giving back,” said Skowron, who treats the children at Harvest Park Naturopathic, his clinic in Wallingford, CT. He decided to treat everyone “so kids with autism would have a great day at a baseball game,” he said.

Skowron is a national expert in natural medicine for children. Author of the bestselling 100 Natural Remedies For Your Child, his life's work is dedicated to the optimal health of children, using natural therapies.
