“Hiding from the Nazis”: A lecture with Holocaust survivor Stanley Ronell at UB on April 16
The University of Bridgeport Student Government Association is proud to present, “Hiding from the Nazis,” an evening of personal remembrances from Holocaust survivor Stanley Ronell, at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.
The event will be held at the Cox Student Center, 244 University Avenue. It is free and open to the public.
In addition to speaking about his experiences, Mr. Ronell will talk about events leading up to the Holocaust and answer questions. Daniel’s Story, a movie about the Holocaust, will be presented, too.
“The Student Government Association is honored and grateful to invite Stanley Ronell to UB,” said SGA Vice President Nicole Thiesse. “As a witness and survivor of the Holocaust, Mr. Ronell has a unique and powerful story to share, and as students, faculty, and guests, we have a truly rare opportunity to hear his account first hand.”
