Arthur C. McAdams named associate dean of the Ernest C. Trefz School of Business.
Arthur C. McAdams has been appointed associate dean of the Ernest C. Trefz School of Business, effective immediately.
McAdams joined the faculty at the University of Bridgeport as a senior lecturer in 2007, and began serving as director of graduate studies in 2012.
Previously, he spent 30 years in industry as the former CIO at SSC Inc., senior vice president at People’s Bank, and lead programmer at Pitney Bowes. He has also taught as an adjunct professor and director of professional studies at Fairfield University School of Business.
McAdams’s expertise is management, organization design, strategy, and information/knowledge systems, and his research has been published in the International Journal of Technology, Knowledge & Society, and The Information Management Journal.
McAdams holds a B.S. in General Studies from Fairfield University, an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut, and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from Nova Southeastern University.
“As associate dean, Art will serve as the leader related to academic affairs in the Ernest C. Trefz School of Business,” said Dean Lloyd Gibson. “He will also continue to teach classes in the graduate program.”
