An exhibit of the art and designs of distinguished artist and industrial designer Jim Lesko is on display at the University of Bridgeport gallery through April 10.
The exhibit includes Lesko's sculptures, paintings, prints, graphics and industrial designs. The gallery is on the ground floor of the Arnold Bernhard Arts and Humanities Center, University and Iranistan avenues, on the Seaside Park campus of the university.
Lesko is director of the Department of Art and Design and chairman of the Industrial and Interior Design programs at the university. He taught at Pratt Institute, the New York Institute of Technology and Carnegie Mellon University before coming to UB in 1996. He has a bachelor's degree from Carnegie Institute of Technology and master's degrees in fine arts from Carnegie Mellon and from Pratt.
The exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, and during the same hours on Saturdays. An opening reception honoring the artist will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the gallery.
